EXPORT FACILITATION

Octave Homes is licensed by the Minerals Commission of Sierra Leone to facilitates export of Gold from Africa, to any destination /refinery of the client through Emirates Sky Cargo or KLM, Royal Dutch Airlines as mandated by the conditions in the License. Clients (SELLER/BUYER, BROKERS) in the West Africa sub- region with Gold can utilize this service through Octave Homes in Sierra Leone without travelling to the countries of origin for declaration certificates.

GOLD EXPORT

We offer complete professional, efficient, fast and secure service third party export services throughout all major global trade routes. All our gold exports meet Government, Customs requirements and are executed through the laid down regulations to world-class refineries overseas. Exporters are advised to deliver minerals of interest bound for export to the offices of octave homes by 10:00 am for assaying on the day of export. In any case, un-smelted gold must be delivered a day prior to the shipment day.
Our PROCEDURES

TRANSPORTATION/EXPORT PROCEDURES

OCTAVE HOMES AG is an ideal and secure private Gold and Export Company in the industry, enabling investors to deposit and export precious metals with confidence and total security.

We will walk you through a simple procedure for potential gold exporters. The exporter will be required to furnish OCTAVE HOMES AG with full address and telephone number of the consignee at the overseas destination for the export.
OCTAVE HOMES AG will be responsible for the transportation of gold to Lungi International Airport, Freetown for onward delivery to the airline.

 The Exporter/Consignee shall be responsible for the insurance and airfreight charges of the gold to be exported.
 The gold to be exported will be accompanied with the following documents;

  • Packing list (Assay invoice)
  • Proforma invoice which will indicate
  • Purity (i.e. Gold content) Quantity of gold in ounces and Kilograms.
  • Value in both US Dollars and local currency (the gold will be priced based on the spot price of the London Bullion Metal Association (LBMA) on the day of export)
    Central Bank of Sierra Leone export documents.

    Customs exports documents (certificate of origin if required) will be processed and sent to various Authorities for approval prior to export.

The Exporter shall be made to pay a negotiable fee as a percentage of the cost of gold to be exported in dollars per kilogram, for assaying and smelting fees.

OCTAVE HOMES AG fee for the export of gold is 1-15% per kilogram smelting fees.
